Asia · Four Destinations
Vietnam to Laos to Cambodia to Thailand — a rare passage through Southeast Asia's most culturally resonant landscapes, experienced with the quiet precision of Aman.
About This Expedition
“Designed for those who seek not simply to see Southeast Asia, but to move through it with intimacy, perspective and access rarely available to the public.”
This private jet journey traces a refined route across four of Asia's most compelling destinations — from the dramatic coastline of Vietnam to the spiritual stillness of Laos, the temple majesty of Cambodia and the island and urban contrasts of Thailand. At every stage, the experience is anchored by Aman's most celebrated properties, each chosen not only for its beauty, but for the calm, privacy and depth it brings to the wider journey.
Travel is entirely seamless, with each transition managed by private jet and private transfer. Days unfold between ancient cities, sacred rivers, protected coastlines and deeply personal encounters — a private blessing in Luang Prabang, sunrise at Angkor Wat before the crowds arrive, a helicopter over the Angkorian plain, a yacht lunch in Phang Nga Bay, and twilight on Bangkok's River of Kings.
This is a highly curated framework for a small number of guests who value privacy, cultural intelligence and the assurance of exceptional hospitality throughout.
What Is Included
Day by Day
Every day has been sequenced to create a natural rhythm — arriving rested, departing enriched, and never once conscious of the machinery moving beneath you.
“The best journeys are felt in the body before they are understood by the mind.”
Amanoi, Vietnam
The journey opens on Vietnam's south-central coast, where Amanoi sits high above Vinh Hy Bay, its pavilions suspended between forested hillsides and open sea. Arrival is by private transfer, followed by a spa treatment designed to ease the body into the rhythm of the days ahead. The following morning may be spent entirely at leisure — swimming from the private beach, snorkelling over coral reefs or withdrawing into the stillness of the Aman Spa. A private off-road journey reveals nearby villages and markets, while a guided hike to Temple Cove offers expansive views across Nui Chua National Park. Later, board a boat to explore the bay itself, pausing for lunch on the water.
Amanoi, VietnamAmantaka, Luang Prabang
After a relaxed morning in Vietnam, the private jet continues to Luang Prabang — a city whose beauty lies not in spectacle, but in atmosphere. Temple roofs catch the late sun, monks move silently through the streets, and the Mekong determines the pace of life. On arrival at Amantaka, a traditional Baci ceremony is arranged privately — an intimate expression of Lao blessing. The days that follow include witnessing the dawn almsgiving ritual, travelling upriver by boat to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, swimming beneath the cascading tiers of Kuang Si Waterfall, and spending time at an ethical elephant sanctuary.
Amantaka, LaosAt first light in Luang Prabang, saffron-robed monks move in silent procession — a rhythm unchanged for five centuries
Amansara, Siem Reap
Cambodia reveals itself slowly — first through the elegance of Amansara, once reserved for royal guests, and then through the extraordinary scale and silence of Angkor. At dawn, Angkor Wat is approached before the first public arrivals, when the temple and surrounding pools belong only to the light and the silence. The experience continues through Angkor Thom, Bayon and Banteay Srei. On the final day, a private helicopter rises above the Angkorian plain. That evening, aperitifs are served among the ruins of Banteay Samré before a private dinner accompanied by traditional Cambodian dance.

Amanpuri, Phuket
After the cultural density of Cambodia, the scene opens into sky, sea and broad horizons. Amanpuri — Aman's original resort — sits above the Andaman coast in complete discretion, its pavilions framed by coconut palms and the sea beyond. One day is reserved for a private yacht journey through Phang Nga Bay, where limestone karsts rise abruptly from the water and hidden beaches appear between sheltered coves. Lunch is served ashore or on deck, before returning to the resort for an afternoon at leisure.
Amanpuri, ThailandAman Nai Lert, Bangkok
The final chapter moves from sea to city. Bangkok arrives with momentum — temples, markets, river traffic, and a skyline in constant motion — yet Aman Nai Lert offers a controlled stillness within it all. On arrival, board a privately chartered Hacker Craft vessel at dusk. From the Chao Phraya, the city's icons appear in sequence: the Grand Palace lit gold, Wat Arun rising in porcelain detail, the river carrying the past and present side by side. The penultimate day is entirely flexible — shaped around temples, markets, contemporary art or culinary exploration.
