Cape Town to Sabi Sands to Victoria Falls to Okavango Delta
About This Expedition
“Designed as a complete African narrative — from oceanfront elegance to raw wilderness, ending in one of the world's last great untouched ecosystems.”
This journey moves through four defining landscapes of Southern Africa, each offering a distinct rhythm and perspective. It begins in Cape Town, where mountain and ocean frame a cosmopolitan introduction to the continent — private vineyard lunches, penguin colonies and a city that feels unlike anywhere else on earth.
From there, the experience deepens into the private wilderness of Sabi Sands, where Big Five game drives and walking safaris reveal Africa at its most intimate. Victoria Falls introduces scale and spectacle at a different order of magnitude entirely. The journey concludes in the Okavango Delta — one of the world's last great untouched ecosystems — accessible only by light aircraft, navigated by mokoro canoe.
Travel is entirely seamless, combining private road transfers, regional flights and light aircraft access into remote locations. Each destination requires only arrival; every detail is arranged in advance.
What Is Included
Day by Day
Every day has been sequenced to create a natural rhythm — arriving rested, departing enriched, and never once conscious of the machinery moving beneath you.
“The best journeys are felt in the body before they are understood by the mind.”
Cape Town — Ellerman House
VIP arrival into Cape Town and private transfer to Ellerman House — one of the continent's most exclusive private residences, perched above the Atlantic with gallery-quality art and uninterrupted ocean views. The first full day is shaped around Cape Town's most compelling experiences: Table Mountain arranged for an early private ascent, with the city spread below before the crowds arrive. The Cape Peninsula drive follows Chapman's Peak to the southern tip, with a stop at Boulders Beach for the resident African penguin colony. Day three lifts the journey into the Winelands by helicopter — landing at private estates in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for tastings and a chef-led lunch before returning to the city as the light turns golden over the Atlantic.

Sabi Sands — Singita Ebony Lodge
A regional flight north to Kruger, followed by a private transfer into the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve — one of Africa's most celebrated safari destinations, bordering the Kruger National Park with no fences between. Singita Ebony Lodge is among the continent's finest addresses in this landscape. Game drives at dawn and dusk are led by exceptional trackers and guides, with Big Five sightings at ranges impossible in most African parks. A walking safari offers a different perspective: slower, quieter and deeply connected to the smaller rhythms of the bush. The midday hours are for rest — spa, pool, quiet reading in the shade. One evening is reserved for a private bush dinner arranged under the open African sky.

Victoria Falls — Matetsi Private Game Reserve
A regional flight carries the journey north to Zimbabwe and the Zambezi River. Matetsi Victoria Falls is a riverfront sanctuary with private game traversing its own concession. The first evening is marked by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi — hippos surfacing at the bow, elephant crossing at the bank, the sky turning extraordinary colours over Zambia. The following morning, a private guided tour of Victoria Falls reveals its full scale and beauty — the spray visible from miles away, the gorge below carved by millennia of force. A helicopter flight over the Falls places it in full context: the Batoka Gorge, the Zambezi snaking away, the two countries on either bank. The final afternoon is free for spa, a canoe safari or cultural encounters.

Okavango Delta — Xigera Safari Lodge
A light aircraft carries you north into Botswana and down across the Delta — the view from the window is already extraordinary, revealing the intricate channels, floodplains and islands of one of Africa's most pristine wilderness areas. Xigera Safari Lodge stands at the edge of the permanent Delta, its design among the most considered of any safari lodge on the continent. Days unfold through mokoro canoe safaris gliding silently through papyrus channels and lily-covered channels, wildlife appearing at the waterline. Boat safaris and game drives extend the encounter on land. One morning is reserved for a helicopter safari over the Delta, revealing the full geometry of the floodplains from above. The journey concludes with a private farewell dinner beneath the stars — the last sound the Delta at night, complete and unhurried.
